How a moxibustion session unfolds
1. Your full story and intake
Reason for visit and any questions you may have. I will show you moxibustion stick and explain how I will use it.
2. Your relaxation
The LunaLei office become your safe place. I step out to allow you to get cozy on our table (either heated or unheated your choice). Once you're ready, I'll step back in turn on the infrared light and start your moxibustion session.
3. Aftercare
After your session, I'll step out and allow you get your bearings together. I'll connect with you after to allow your moxibustion results to last longer at home. Basic aftercare includes hydration, rest if applicable, selfcare, and for breech baby we will schedule your next session if needed.

Does Moxibustion hurt?
No. Moxibustion does not touch the skin at any point. I will check in with you throughout your session to make sure the heat is tolerable.

Avoid cold and raw foods/drinks. Stay warm after to maintain internal heat.
Is Moxibustion okay during the summer?
Yes! I actually recommend it. It's a great way to boost your immune system and prepare your body for the colder months ahead. In Chinese Medicine, we prep the immune system during the summer months.
What should I expect for breech baby?
You will lay down on treatment table where I will apply Moxibustion to your organ meridian points to stimulate baby. You will feel gentle heat and you may start to feel uterine activity as baby may attempt to turn
