Fertiity Support, Yuba City, CA
Fertility isn't just a physical event it's a conversation between your body, your cycles, your nourishment, and your nervous system. At LunaLei, I listen to all of it, using Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda to restore the conditions your body needs to thrive.

Two ancient systems, one unified plan
-
TCM and Ayurveda were both built around the same question: what does your body need right now? Together they give us the most complete picture of where fertility challenges actually originate and what to do about them
-
Root cause over symptom managment
Irregular cycles, luteal phase defects, poor egg quality, and unexplained infertility all have underlying patterns. In TCM these show up as kidney deficiency, blood stagnation, or dampness. We find yours.
-
Cycle phase specific protocols
Your plan changes with your cycle: different herbs, foods, and practices for each phase to build the right conditions at the right time.
-
Functional lab interpretation
I order and read labs through both a conventional and TCM/Ayurvedic holistic assessment finding meaning in ranges your doctor may have called "normal."
-
IVF and ART support
Already working with a fertility clinic or RE? I work alongside your medical team to support your body through every phase of treatment.
-
The emotional body matters too
Fertility stress is real and physiologically significant. holistic support, nervous system care, and space for grief are woven into every plan not treated as afterthoughts.
-
Doula support for when you conceive
I walk with you through birth, labor and postpartum to continue your care with someone who already knows your body.
Labs assessed with a different lens
Fertility labs tell a richer story when read functionally. I can order testing without a referral in collaboration with local labs. Interpreting your results through TCM and Ayurvedic frameworks alongside conventional ranges often finding meaningful patterns in numbers sometimes called "fine." All tests are not used for diagnostic purposes but only for holistic assesement.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different than what my fertility doctor does?
Your RE or OB focuses on anatomy, hormones, and medical intervention which is invaluable/needed. TCM and Ayurveda work at the level of pattern, constitution, and the underlying conditions that allow fertility to arise. Rather than replacing conventional care, this work deepens it.
Where your RE asks "are your hormone levels within range?" I ask "why are they where they are, and what does your body need to shift them?" Both questions matter
Can this help if I'm already doing IVF?
Yes and this is a most common situation. IVF is physically and emotionally demanding, and TCM/Ayurvedic support is specifically designed to work alongside medical protocols. I time sessions and herbal recommendations around your clinic's protocol.
Many clients find integrative support helps with cycle response, reduces medication side effects, and significantly improves the emotional experience of treatment.
Do I need to be actively trying to conceive to book?
Not at all. Many clients come for preconception care 6–12 months before they plan to try to optimize cycle health or address hormonal imbalances before pregnancy.
Do you support people through pregnancy loss?
Yes. Loss is part of many fertility journeys and it deserves its own care not just a pivot back to "trying again." Reiki, TCM recovery support, and unhurried space to grieve are available here. We move at your pace, always.
